The film "My friend Naim" awarded at the Los Angeles Festival

The Catalan Journalists' Association has supported the short film by the Catalan director José Luis López, who, after being awarded prizes at different international festivals, has just received the Los Angeles Cinefest Film Festival award.

"My friend Naim" The Catalan director's debut feature José Luis López Ortiz was selected to be part of the Short Film Corner of the 70th International Cannes Film Festival in 2017, and since then he has not stopped receiving awards at the international Festivals Indie movies.

The Catlunya College of Journalists once again congratulates the entire team of the short film "My Friend Naim" for their presence at one of the most important film festivals around the world. Our granite is part of a great international recognition and we want to wish that the history of Alba reaches thousands of spectators.

El Colegio de Periodistas de Cataluña ha apoyado el cortometraje del director catalán José Luis López que, tras ser premiado en diferentes festivales internacionales, ahora acaba de recibir el galardón de Los Ángeles Cinefest Film Festival.

"Mi amigo Naim" La ópera prima del director catalán José Luis López Ortiz, fue seleccionado para formar parte del Short Film Corner del 70 Festival Internacional de Cannes 2017, y desde ese momento no ha parado de recibir reconocimientos en el circuito internacional de Festivales de Cine Independiente.

El Colegio de Periodistas de Catlunya vuelve a felicitar a todo el equipo de la película de corta duración "Mi amigo Naim" por su presencia en uno de los festivales cinematográficos más importantes de todo el mundo. Nuestro granito de arena forma parte de un gran reconocimiento internacional y queremos desear que la historia de Alba llegue a miles de espectadores.

Mi Amigo Naim sigue haciendo amigos alrededor del mundo. En esta ocasión nuestros hermanos italianos han vuelto a confiar en este cortometraje por su valor cinematográfico y social, estando nominados al gran premio de la crítica y al mejor cortometraje.

En esta ocasión compartiremos evento con la presencia de la magistral Claudia Cardinale. Un lujo.

Italia, y la bella península del Sorrento, tiende nuevamente puentes con Sant Boi de Llobregat valorando el trabajo realizado por todo el equipo de “Mi amigo Naim”

It was not my intention, but it was. It had taken him 20 years to make the move. I still wonder why? And the answer is always the same: Life is magic and you have to let yourself be guided by your instinct. Now I understand, it was not earlier because it was not the time. And what is done for love of art must be done when you think it necessary to do it. It is never too early or too late.

My claim to perform "My friend Naim" was to externalize a feeling, a thought and a concern, which I think is the concern of many people. Who was going to tell me that this act would have so much repercussion.

I'm not going to hide it, of course I'm glad it was. And I am glad for all those who have been involved in the project "My friend Naim". Because shared success, the success of the group always tastes better. To this world we have come to share. And happiness depends directly on that act.

So today we share with you this news that somehow also belongs to you. We are finalists in LOS ANGELES CINE FEST!

Tres meses después éramos finalistas en LACINEFEST

No era mi intención, pero así fue. Había tardado 20 años en dar el paso. Aun me pregunto ¿por qué? Y la respuesta siempre es la misma: La vida es mágica y te has de dejar guiar por tu instinto. Ahora comprendo que, no fue antes porque no era el momento. Y aquello que se hace por amor al arte se ha de hacer cuando crees que es necesario hacerlo. Nunca es demasiado pronto ni demasiado tarde.

Mi pretensión al realizar "Mi amigo Naim" era exteriorizar un sentimiento, un pensamiento y una preocupación, que pienso es la preocupación de muchas personas. Quien me iba a decir que ese acto tendría tanta repercusión.

No voy a ocultarlo, por supuesto me alegro de que así haya sido. Y me alegro por todos los que se han implicado en el proyecto de "Mi amigo Naim". Porque el éxito compartido, el éxito del grupo siempre tiene mejor sabor. A este mundo hemos venido para compartir. Y en gran medida la felicidad depende directamente de ese acto.

Así que hoy compartimos con vosotros esta noticia que de alguna forma también os pertenece. ¡Somos finalistas en LOS ANGELES CINE FEST!

SANT BOI WELCOMES THE PRESENTATION OF THE SHORT 'My friend Naim'

Yesterday Friday was the presentation in Sant Boi of the short film Mi amigo Naim, directed by santboià José Luis López. The film is a song to the friendship and the welcome and was selected to be part of the Catalog of Court Short Film Corner of Festival of Cannes 2017.

The presentation was attended by the mayor, Luisa Moret, the director of the short and the participating actors, Jesus Puchol, Candela Moreno and Roland Fosso. The mayor said that the short film is "a tool of projection of the city" and stressed its educational values. For its part, the director of the work, José Luis López, expressed his intention to use the short film as an educational material for schools once the presentation at the film festivals ends.

SANT BOI ACOGE LA PRESENTACIÓN DEL CORTO 'Mi amigo Naim'

Ayer viernes tuvo lugar la presentación en Sant Boi del cortometraje Mi amigo Naim, dirigido por el santboià José Luis López. El film es un canto a la amistad y la acogida y fue seleccionado para formar parte del Catalogue du Court Short Film Corner del Festival de Cannes 2017.

La presentación contó con la asistencia de la alcaldesa, Luisa Moret, el director del corto y los actores participantes, Jesús Puchol, Candela Moreno y Roland Fosso. La alcaldesa manifestó que el cortometraje es "una herramienta de proyección de la ciudad" y destacó sus valores educativos. Por su parte, el director de la obra, José Luis López, expresó su intención de utilizar el cortometraje como material educativo para las escuelas una vez finalice su presentación en los festivales de cine.

El film ha sido rodado en Sant Boi para Punto & Ap (arte) audiovisual...

350 people have seen the short film 'My friend Naim' in the premiere screening in Sant Boi. The film, made and performed by SANTBOIANS and shot in the city, will be adapted to be used as educational material in schools to raise awareness about immigration and poverty.

A simple but very effective story to remove consciences. This is "My friend Naim", the short film with which José Luis López publicist of Sant Boi de Llobregat  has taken the step towards the cinema. The short puts the focus on two realities that we have very close but to which they are very often turned away: immigration and poverty ...

350 personas han visto el cortometraje ‘Mi amigo Naim’ en el estreno que se ha hecho en Sant Boi. El film, hecho e interpretado por santboianos y rodado en la ciudad, se adaptará para ser utilizado como material educativo en las escuelas para concienciar sobre la inmigración y la pobreza.

Una historia sencilla pero muy efectiva para remover conciencias. Así es “Mi amigo Naim”, el cortometraje con el cual el publicista de Sant Boi de Llobregat José Luis López ha dado el paso hacia el cine.
