On July 28 at 6:50 in the morning we board on the plane to Naples. In our suitcases a little clothes for three days, the white shirt, a bow tie and kilos of emotion.
We were one of the 25 finalists of the prestigious social film festival “Social World Film Festival".
The welcome and the stay at Vico Equense was fantastic. We felt at home at all times. That same afternoon was projected in the complex Monumental SS Trinita “My friend Naim” next to 12 short films more of an exceptional level of quality. At the end of the screening I had the pleasure of exposing, on this occasion using my little knowledge of Italian, details that mark the character of the short film.But the great moment of our journey came the next day. In the course of the Awards Red Carpet Ceremony, the title of the short film winner of the 7th Edition was unveiled. “My friend Naim” ex aequo next to “Lurna” was proclaimed herself the winner and Claudia Cardinale, godmother of honor of the Ceremony testified to it.
One of those dreams that you would never want to wake up from sleep!

El 28 de julio a las 6.50 de la mañana cogíamos el avión rumbo a Nápoles. En nuestras maletas un poco de ropa para tres días, la camisa blana, una pajarita y kilos de emoción.
Éramos uno de los 25 finalistas del prestigioso festival de cine social Social World Film Festival.
La acogida y la estancia en Vico Equense fue fantástica. Nos sentimos como en casa en todo momento. Esa misma tarde se proyectaba en el complejo Monumental SS Trinita Mi amigo Naim junto a 12 cortos más de un nivel de calidad excepcional. Al finalizar la proyección tuve el placer de exponer, en esta ocasión haciendo uso de mis pequeños conocimientos de italiano, detalles que marcan el carácter del cortometraje.
Pero el gran momento de nuestro viaje vino el dia siguiente. En el transcurso de la Gala de entrega de Premios se desvelo el título del cortometraje ganador de la 7ª Edición. Mi amigo Naim ex aequo junto a Lurna se había proclamado vencedor y Claudia Cardinale, madrina de honor de la Ceremonia dio fe de ello.
Uno de esos sueños de los que no querrías despertar nunca.
